The Big Screen Project.

The Big Screen Project is a "real space where people, media and culture connect." I find it to be a fascinating art concept that's attracting a younger crowd of people.

The Big Screen is a jumbotron 30 ft. x 16.5 ft. HD format LED screen located at the 10,000 sq. ft. public plaza behind a new 54-story multi-use building on 6th Avenue between 29th and 30th Street, NYC

The content ranges from the best in the arts, cinema, and new media to highlights in sports and video gaming. The purpose is to expose the public to fresh cultural content and to raise awareness for inspirational aims on subjects ranging from the ecological to the humanitarian. Big Screen's team of curators collects the best of global cultures in participation with content partners such as art institutions, film festivals, ecologically and humanitarian minded not-for-profits (Bigscreenproject).

Have any of you been? Anyone know any other media art events like this one?
