Belly dancers dazzle at 4th Malaysia World Belly Dance Day 2011

Celebrity Fitness and Belly Fusion presented Malaysia 4th World Belly Dance Day 2011 with a show to remember – an exciting evening of top class entertainment filled with authentic belly dancing by professional belly dancers from all over the world including Malaysia.

The charity show held at Euphoria by Ministry of Sound in Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya on 14th May 2011 saw the mostly female guests’ attention glued to the stage as the belly dancers put on a power-packed and electrifying performance that drew gasps of admiration and rapturous cheer.

Money raised through the sale of tickets at RM85 is in aid of the Handicapped and Mentally Retarded Children Centre Selangor.

It was an amazing belly dance experience for the paying guests who enjoyed an exciting evening showing the best of talents and skills from the belly dancers while contributing to a charity.

World Belly Dance Day is also held concurrently in several other countries in the month of May, with the objective of promoting the authentic forms of belly dace.

performer, teacher, costume maker and cultural anthro-
pologist in tribal arts. She teaches and performs weekly
at Bukit Bintang.
