SEA Park residents come face-to-face with OCPD PJ

The residents of Section 21 SEA Park and its neighbour of Section 20 Taman Paramount were invited to a “Face to Face with OCPD PJ” programme where they had the chance to ask questions to Petaling Jaya’s police chief OCPD ACP Arjunaidi Mohamed along with his team to highlight problems and provide feedback to the police.

ACP Arjunaidi was given a traditional lion dance and Indian traditional music welcome on his arrival at the SEA Park RT centre in Jalan 21/19.

The OCS (officer-in-charge of station) of SEA Park police station Inspector Gunam Resul bin Gulam Mohammad and police officers from various departments were on hand to offer crime reduction advice and information to the problems highlighted by residents.

The turn-out by residents were encouraging as many took the opportunity to discuss their concerns and problems there were experiencing as the feedback were important to the police to reduce crime. A number of residents also registered as Rakan Cop volunteers to help the police fight crime.

There was also an exhibition on promotion of road safety by the police traffic unit.

The crowd were attracted to two black Labrador dogs from the police K9 unit which demonstrated their skills and abilities in sniffing out illicit drugs.

Pamphlets on crime prevention were also distributed to the residents.

The “Face-to-Face” programme was organised jointly by Petaling Jaya district police station, Section 21 SEA Park Rukun Tetangga and Section 20A Taman Paramount Rukun Tetangga.
