A large number of visitors, especially youths and upwardly mobile young professionals flocked to the 3-day GoMobile 2009 consumer fair from October 23 – 25, 2009 held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).
The fair was participated by a number of mobile brands, telcos, service providers, content creators and anyone related in the mobile industry, including related publication companies.
Visitors get great deals on mobile related products such as mobile phones, Bluetooth accessories, applications, phone decals, GPS devices, mobile speakers and so on.
The GoMobile Fashion Show attracted a big crowd with attractive models parading in clothing made out of mobile phone parts. Another attraction was the booth babes and salesgirls/promoters with their pretty faces that added the glitz and glamour to the expo.

Rumah Hope - a refuge for abandoned, abused and neglected children - had a booth selling children clothings, fashion jewellery and accessories. The GoMobile 2009 organizer should be congratulated for practising corporate social responsibility for allocating the exhibition booth free-of-charge to Rumah Hope and three other booths for non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
The Beautiful Gate Foundation For the Disabled booth selling ornamental glassware. Next to it was the booth for the Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB) but unfortunately it was empty at the time.
The eHomemakers booth selling handcrafted baskets. Each basket is hand-woven from used magazines by low-income disadvantaged women (single mothers, homemakers, disabled women, patients with chronic illnesses, etc) to support themselves and their families from their own homes.
