Buy Malaysia Bling Bling Fair 2009 @ Mid-Valley Exhibition Centre really sparkles.

There was a good turnout at the four-day Buy Malaysia Bling Bling Fair organized by SkyVenture Productions with the support of Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism Ministry at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre (MVEC), Kuala Lumpur from Dec 10-13, 2009.

Visitors were fascinated by the variety of quality local brand products and services featured at close to 200 booths and the items were reasonably priced.

There were exciting and endless entertainment and activities held such as live performances, fashion shows and cooking challenge by celebrities and a Miss Bling Bling Malaysia 2009 beauty pageant.

The Bling Bling Fair:
An annual event to promote Malaysian made products and services. The Bling Bling Fair attracts attention because it is big, interesting and exciting with close to 2o0 booths specializing in various products, including gadgets, leisure, food and beverages, beauty and wellness, home and interior décor and much much more. Besides there are celebrities and beauties to woo the crowds. It doesn't mean a thing if it's not on Bling!

These two sexy babes Aida (left) and Syikin certainly drew the crowd to their Modenas booth. Modenas is short for Syarikat Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn. Bhd. It is Malaysian national motorcycle company producing various small motorcycle models below 200cc targeted for local market and export. The company's headquarters and factory are located at the small town of Gurun, Kedah, Malaysia. The latest Modenas model GT 128 with dual starter looks sporty and is retailed at RM4,968.00


The new Perodua MPV called Alza is a hot seller. Customers who book the MPV at the fair will likely receive their vehicles by end January/February 2010.


Each bar of Crispy Chocolates contained valuable nutrition like Vitamins A, B3, B12, C and E that not many people know of.

The holiday time-share company Leisure Holidays Bhd booth drew big crowd who were given holiday voucher of free hotel accomodation at any of the five local destinations at Langkawi, Penang, Cameron Highlands, Genting Highlands and Port Dickson.

Vitagen official mascot Captain V is fun and lovable at the Bling Bling fair. Vitagen is Malaysia’s No. 1 cultured milk drink and celebrated its 32nd anniversary this year.

Cartoon characters Upin (left) and Ipin making their presence at the Bling Bling fair. Upin & Ipin is an animation series produced by Malaysian animation house Les' Copaque Production and is told about the life of two 5-year-old twins, Upin and Ipin, in Malaysia day-to-day life.


The local animation series Upin & Ipin shown on television and film has recently expanded into comics.

Upin & Ipin attract all races and every age group.


Upin & Ipin are becoming the icons for children today.

Celebrity Cooking Challenge:
The fair is a star-studded event, with celebrities and beauties to woo the crowds.


A touch of celebrity sparkle and Bling in their lives. The dishes are tasted by the three judges. Live performances:


Six-year-old Noor Aina Batrisyia wowed the audience. Her sweet clear voice totally mesmerized all who were there.


Singer, actor and Project Superstar champion John Wee captivated the audience with his singing prowess and vocals in a lively performance.

Volunteers particpated in a catwalk competition much to the delight of the audience who were appointed the judges. The loudest applause from the audience determined the best catwalk.
