Best of Malaysian Cultural on show at Formula 1 Malaysia Cultural Festival


Malaysia is multi cultural. The best of its cultural diversity were showcased to visitors and F1 spectators at the first ever Formula 1 Malaysia Cultural Festival organized by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) in collaboration with private sectors and Ministry of Tourism.

The 3-day multi-cultural event held outdoor at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur from 2nd – 4th April, 5 pm to 11 pm daily is one of the events for the 7th edition of Kuala Lumpur Grand Prix City (KLGP) festival 2010 held in conjunction with the 12th edition of Formula One (F1) Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix 2010 (April 2 - 4) at Sepang International Circuit (SIC).

There were Malay, Chinese, Indian, Punjabi and the East Malaysian extravaganza cultural performances that kept the spectators enthralled during the show.

Other performances included a 1Malaysia Dance, acrobatic lion dance and 24-drum performance.

Crowd participation:
At the end of the show, everyone in the crowd were invited on stage to participate in a cultural dance with the dancers.
