The Weld shopping centre in Kuala Lumpur was filled with energy and excitement as the pretty excitable lunch hour crowd was dazzled by the masterful display of traditional Chinese martial arts wushu show performed by a team of talented martial art exponents.
Wushu ia a Chinese word meaning martial arts.
Various movements of the wushu disciplines were performed with bare hands or with long stick and sword. The demo was really great! The agility displayed by these wushu exponents looks really cool and Mai Tomyam would love to learn that kind of stuff.
The wushu demo held on Thursday 11th February 2010 at the lower ground floor of The Weld was part of a line up of entertaining shows by the shopping centre to celebrate the Chinese New Year 2010.
View below some of the masterful display of the wushu by single exponent performing the Taolu (routine form) such as Tajiquan (supreme ultmate fist), Nanquan (southern style boxing) and Jianshu (sword play).
